Releases and publisher feeds are checked approximately every six hours and US regulatory documents every twelve hours. The worker processes up to four due sources every fifteen minutes, so a full queue can add around two hours. Limits or outages delay updates; the last successful records remain visible. Source removal cannot be inferred from absence in a recent sample. No CoinMarketCal records are used here.
The essentials
Bitcoin records transfers in a public chain of blocks. Wallets use private keys to authorize spending; the network checks transactions against its rules. Mining adds valid transactions to that history. A transaction appearing in a wallet and a transaction confirmed in a block are different stages.
