Up to 100 recent entries per source are checked each cycle; some publisher feeds provide fewer. Announcement topics are assigned automatically from explicit headline terms, not confirmed event outcomes. Dates on record cards are publication dates, not event dates. Releases marked as drafts or prereleases are excluded. Regulatory results require a crypto-related headline. Coverage is selective and bounded, not a complete record of network changes.

Releases and publisher feeds are checked approximately every six hours and US regulatory documents every twelve hours. The worker processes up to four due sources every fifteen minutes, so a full queue can add around two hours. Limits or outages delay updates; the last successful records remain visible. Source removal cannot be inferred from absence in a recent sample. No CoinMarketCal records are used here.
The essentials
Ethereum lets users submit transactions that transfer assets or execute smart-contract code. The Ethereum Virtual Machine defines how that code changes shared state. ETH pays for computation and supports the network's proof-of-stake security. An application's activity and a protocol change answer different questions about the ecosystem.

A reader’s checklist
Our reading approach: follow an announcement from its technical scope to its evidence. A conference presentation can explain a design, but the presentation date alone does not establish when software will be deployed.

The activity monitor publishes validated source metadata automatically using factual templates, without an AI API. The project guides below combine original explanations with linked primary sources. The first edition was researched and drafted with AI assistance, including source checks; it is not presented as an independently human-reviewed report. The monitor distinguishes a published software release from a protocol activation and a regulatory document from a rule already in force.
The monitor displays source checks, publication dates and coverage limits. Past deadlines leave the upcoming section automatically. Project explainers are dated reference material, separate from the automatically refreshed records. Report a correction.
