KuCoin Adds GRVT to Spot Listings With Coordinated Exchange Rollout

Semi-realistic on-chain vault opens to reveal a glowing GRVT token, linked by blue blockchain lines to abstract market nodes

KuCoin has opened spot trading for GRVT, the native token of self-custodial financial platform Grvt. The GRVT/USDT pair went live at 14:00 UTC on July 30, 2026, following the activation of Ethereum deposits and a one-hour call auction designed to establish an opening price before continuous trading began.

Withdrawals are scheduled to open at 10:00 UTC on July 31. KuCoin also enabled several automated strategies at launch, including Spot Grid, DCA, Smart Rebalance and Spot Martingale. The phased schedule gave the exchange control over deposit readiness, initial price discovery and the timing of external token transfers.

Coordinated Launch Creates Multiple Liquidity Venues

The KuCoin listing formed part of a wider rollout across centralized exchanges. Bitget opened GRVT/USDT at the same 14:00 UTC start time, with withdrawals scheduled for 15:00 UTC on July 31 and its conversion service set to follow within 10 minutes of spot trading. The synchronized opening gave eligible traders simultaneous access to GRVT through more than one USDT order book.

Bybit also confirmed a 14:00 UTC listing rather than leaving its timetable unresolved. Its GRVT/USDT market supports deposits and withdrawals through Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain, although the accompanying promotional campaign is limited to selected regions, including Southeast Asia, South Korea and Mandarin-language markets. Availability and promotional access therefore vary according to customer location and account eligibility.

MEXC followed a different schedule and opened GRVT trading before KuCoin, Bitget and Bybit. GRVT/USDT began trading at 12:03 UTC, followed by GRVT/USDC at 12:23 UTC and MEXC Convert at 13:03 UTC. The exchange did not ultimately leave spot activation dependent on an unspecified future liquidity threshold, as its final notice established fixed opening times for both pairs.

Coinbase has taken a more limited step. Customers in supported regions can generate GRVT deposit addresses through Coinbase’s retail application, website and exchange platform, but transfers depended on the issuer enabling token movement. Coinbase’s communication confirmed infrastructure preparation without announcing an active GRVT trading pair.

The distribution across several venues gives GRVT multiple points of price discovery, but it does not guarantee unified liquidity. Each exchange maintains separate order books, market-making arrangements, withdrawal schedules and regional controls. Launching on several platforms can broaden access while simultaneously dividing early liquidity among competing markets.

Token Generation Begins a Staged Distribution Cycle

Grvt made token allocations visible at 13:00 UTC on July 30, one hour before the coordinated 14:00 UTC listings. Participants who registered by July 17 and selected a destination could receive their first tranche automatically through Grvt, Ethereum or BNB Smart Chain. Later registrants and subsequent tranches require manual claims through the application. The token-generation event begins a staggered release process rather than placing every allocated GRVT into circulation immediately.

Registration remains open until 00:00 UTC on August 6, meaning the process closes at the end of August 5. That deadline should not be confused with a universal claim cutoff. Participants have 30 days from each applicable tranche release date to claim manually distributed tokens before they expire. Registration and tranche claiming operate under separate timelines.

The community distribution pool is fixed at 280 million GRVT, divided between 100 million allocation shares from the first season and 180 million from the second. Grvt has established a maximum token supply of 1 billion GRVT with no inflation beyond that cap. The release schedule determines circulating availability, while the fixed supply establishes the maximum basis used for fully diluted valuation calculations.

Grvt describes its platform as combining yield-bearing balances, investment products and spot and perpetual trading across crypto, equities and commodities. Users retain custody while balances can remain productive and serve as collateral across supported services. Those features define the intended utility of GRVT’s ecosystem but do not ensure sustained demand for the token after its exchange debut.

Any valuation derived from pre-market trading remains provisional now that live order books are operating. The eventual market structure will depend on circulating supply, release schedules, market-maker inventory and the depth maintained across each venue. Debut-day turnover can reflect incentives and initial positioning rather than durable liquidity or organic platform adoption.

The immediate development is a coordinated token launch supported by several exchanges, with KuCoin, Bitget and Bybit aligning around a 14:00 UTC opening while MEXC began trading earlier. GRVT’s longer-term position will depend on whether fragmented launch liquidity develops into stable markets and whether token utility produces repeat activity beyond the initial distribution cycle.
